Qualifications for Rehab Aide:

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) required

• Experience with MS Word & Excel preferred

• Ability to perform essential tasks and physical requirements

• Ability to comply with departmental safety policies and procedures

• Prior experience in a healthcare facility a plus

Responsibilities for Rehab Aide:

• Performs therapist approved exercise programs or ambulation programs under the direct supervision of a licensed physical or occupational therapist

• Carries out maintenance program as outlined by a licensed therapist

• Provides patients with proper instruction and teaches correct exercise form

• Complies with state, federal and APTA/AOTA standards of practice when carrying out treatment programs and other functions in direct supervision of MA licensed physical or occupational therapist

• Assists therapists with group treatments and transportation of patients
