About the Job
Principal Accountabilities:
Provides respiratory care to patients as ordered by physician and according to established standards and practices.
- Evaluates prescription, checks patient information to assess patient condition and determine requirements for treatment, and order processing
- Knowledge regarding homecare services
- CPAP/VPAP set ups in the office
- Sets up and educates patient on how to operates devices and utilize equipment such as CPAP/VPAP machines, humidifier, masks, hoses/tubing, etc.
- Observes equipment function and adjusts equipment to obtain optimum results to therapy.
- Facilitates services for home care patients such as O2 orders, nebulizer orders and CPAP orders.
- Monitors and Maintains adequate levels of supplies.
- Reviews and responds to patient requests via phone calls, in basket and my chart messaging.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Good organizational, prioritization and critical thinking skills.
- Maintains medical records and documentation in accordance with all HIPAA laws and regulations.
- Assists in the performance of diagnostic testing by performing pulmonary function tests to be used by physician in diagnosis of case.
