Registered Respiratory Therapist at ICONMA, LLC

• Registered Respiratory Therapists are responsible for providing, coordinating, and directing individualized comprehensive respiratory care to all patients based upon assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Accountable to: Cardiopulmonary Director. In the absence of the Director, is responsible to the Lead RRT. Once oriented, the RRT is expected to function with a minimum of supervision.

Requirements

• Respiratory Certifications RRT.
• Minimum Years of Experience: 3.
• Must have a current WA License, BLS, ACLS, PALS and NRP.
• Current Washington State license, as a Respiratory Care Practitioner.
• Will maintain BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS certification.
• Will practice within the scope of practice of a RCP.
• Ability to lift fifty (50) pounds from floor to waist.
• Ability to lift fifty (50) pounds from wheelchair to bed level.
• Ability to lift five (5) pounds over head.
• Ability to pull fifty (50) pounds from stretcher to bed.
• Ability to push one hundred fifty (150) pound loaded stretcher 300 feet.
• Auditory ability to perform procedures and to take accurate blood pressures.
• Vision adequate to observe patients and to perform charting procedures.
• Ability to meet specific criteria for the Cardiopulmonary department.

Preferred:

• Prefer one year of current acute care experience; but may be a new graduate.
