We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Permanent Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This high-impact role will require you to provide top-notch medical care to our employees while ensuring the smooth running of our medical operations. You will be working in a fast-paced, challenging environment where your expertise in Med Surg will be highly valued. The ideal candidate is a seasoned professional with a strong commitment to nursing ethics and patient care, who can maintain a compassionate and professional demeanor even under pressure.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients, focusing on their physical, emotional, and psychological well-being.
Conduct thorough patient assessments, develop care plans, and implement treatment protocols in line with established best practices.
Monitor and record patients' conditions, update their medical records, and communicate any changes to the medical team.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by doctors and provide post-operative care.
Collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary medical team to ensure the highest quality of patient care.
Educate patients and their families on their conditions, treatment plans, and post-discharge care.
Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
Participate in professional development activities and stay current with the latest nursing practices and advancements in the medical field.

Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
At least 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in a Med Surg setting.
Exceptional clinical skills with an in-depth knowledge of nursing principles, methods, and procedures.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
Strong problem-solving abilities and a keen attention to detail.
Demonstrated ability to handle stressful situations and make decisions under pressure.
Proficiency in electronic health records systems and medical software.
Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, if necessary.
BLS and ACLS certification from the American Heart Association or the ability to obtain these certifications upon hire.
