A Prestigious Hospital system in New Brunswick, NJ has an immediate need for an Registered Nurse to work in Pediatric StepDown
Type: Contract, Minimum of 13 weeks
Schedule: Day 4x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30)
Location: New Brunswick, NJ
Requirements:
NJ State Registered/license RN
RN must have 1+ years experience
BLS, PALS required
Patient Mix: Med/surg pediatrics. Newborn and up; can take any age. Reg M/S
Floated between All areas in BMSCH and PICU for medical surgical assignment, Pediatrics, Adolescents and Special Care Nursery (growers/feeders),Peds Heme/Onc (no chemo/infusions)
Must have experience with IV pumps, pulse ox, cardiac monitor…
Skill requirement: IVs, TPN, G-tube, trach, central lines, foley, NG tubes, respiratory treatments, transfusions, pre and post-op care
Patient Ratio: 1:5 ; 1:2 1:3 if floated
Charting System: EPIC
