About the Job
The Registered Nurse / RN Coordinator Clinical Coordinator is a registered nurse who has the responsibility of supporting the Director/Administrative Director of Perioperative Services in the efficient coordination, implementation, and evaluation of the nursing care delivered and is able to independently manage the unit in the absence of the Directors. Registered Nurse / RN Coordinator monitors productivity based on surgical volume/flex appropriately. The Registered Nurse / RN Coordinator is in charge of managing the day-to-day operations of the OR schedule making sure supplies/equipment/instrumentation are available for the procedures. The Registered Nurse / RN Coordinator will also manage PAT/Preop day to day operations. Collaborate with Surgery Leadership, central scheduling and other units to provide efficient care to the patients going through Perioperative cycle
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current state licensure.
- BLS and ACLS Required
- PALS optional
