Registered Nurse - Cardiovascular Operating Room

MUST:
Experienced Registered Nurse
2 years CVOR experience required
Effective Communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Asses, plan, intervene and evaluate the care of intra-operative cardiac patients.
Assist surgeons in operative procedures with patients
Maintain and review patients records including posting tests and examination results
Administer medications in accordance with physician orders
Be able to Circulate and Scrub
Would consider an OR nurse with 1 year experience both scrubbing and circulating.
Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved Registered Nurse program Required
BSN - Highly desired
DUTIES:
Provides safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy. Provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team. The concepts of patient centered care will provide the foundation for all nursing care. Demonstrates service excellence at all times. Typical surgeries include cardiac, thoracic, or vascular surgeries such as Coronary Artery Bypass Grafts, Valve replacement, Carotid Endartectomy, Aortic Abdominal Aneurysm repair, etc are seen in the CVOR.
