Position Summary:
- Ratios: 1:5-6.
- *36 - 48 hrs will be accepted. For 48hrs, no OT billed until after 48 hrs.
- Will Accept 13 Weeks.
- Shift: 12 HOUR NIGHTS
- ***RTO: 7 days MAX***
- Float Requirement: Yes, to other telemetry units.
- Weekend Requirement: 4 Weekend Days in a 6-week time track.
Qualifications:
- Minimum Years of Experience: 1 Year
- Traveler Experience: Unit WILL Accept 1st time travelers
- Locals Accepted / Rate Difference: Yes
- Skills: Telemetry, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Cardiac GTT exp. MUST be comfortable with cardiac drips including :Cardizem, Dopamine, dobutamine, milrinone, amiodarone, Lasix and heparin.
Certifications:
- ACLS, BCLS
PATIENT DIAGNOSES:
- They may get various types of patients requiring telemetry monitoring including chest pain, arrhythmias, pacemaker, or defibrillator.
- They work with a heart failure navigator.
UNIT SYSTEMS:
- Pyxis, EPIC, SBAR
UNIT ORIENTATION:
- 36 hours of orientation
SCRUBS:
- Not provided – Navy
