Position Title: Registered Nurse Ambulatory Care

Position Summary

You will be part of a team dedicated to their mission to raise the physical, mental and spiritual health of American Indians and Alaska Natives throughout the continental United States and Alaska. The potential opportunities are for RNs at Northern Navajo Medical Center located in Shiprock, New Mexico.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Inputs patient care information in manual and automated record systems
Performs procedures, treatments, and medication administration.
Administers medication orally, intramuscularly, subcutaneously, topically, intravenously, etc.
Provide instructions to patients and/or family members.

Education and Experience Requirements

Degree or diploma from a professional nursing program approved by the legally designated State accrediting agency at the time the program was completed by applicant.
Must possess a current, valid, unrestricted nursing license in a state, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a Territory of the United States, throughout the term of this contract.
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Required.
3+ years of nursing experience with a minimum of 2 years in ambulatory care.

Working Conditions/Working Environment/Physical Demands

8-12 Hour Shifts. May include weekends and Holidays.

**Position contingent upon award of contract, government acceptance of candidate, and positive adjudication of government investigation.
