We are currently seeking a proactive, dedicated, and experienced Consulting Registered Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team. The chosen candidate will play a vital role in providing top-notch patient care services, administering medication, and planning schedules. Responsibilities:
As a Consulting Registered Nurse, your primary responsibilities will include:
1. Delivering high-quality patient care, including assessment, treatment, and education.
2. Administering medications to patients as prescribed by the attending physician, ensuring correct dosages and monitoring for any potential side effects.
3. Developing, implementing, and reviewing patient care plans, and making necessary adjustments based on their changing needs.
4. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to provide coordinated and integrated patient care.
5. Planning and scheduling patient appointments, tests, surgeries, or therapies efficiently.
6. Providing consultative services to patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
7. Maintaining up-to-date, accurate, and confidential patient records, adhering to HIPAA laws and medical protocols.
8. Participating in continuous professional development activities to stay current with the latest trends and advancements in the nursing field.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Consulting Registered Nurse position must possess the following qualifications:
1. A valid Registered Nurse license in the state of practice.
2. A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in a consulting role.
3. Proficiency in patient care, medicine administration, and schedule planning.
4. Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
5. Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
6. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism and composure.
7. Solid understanding of medical procedures, terminology, and regulations.
8. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
9. Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
10. Basic computer skills, including familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
