Unbound Recovery, LLC was founded in 2021 to meet the rising need for intensive, evidence-based treatment for eating disordered patients. It is a privately-held outpatient center focused on the treatment of anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge eating disorder, disordered eating, chronic dieting, and body image concerns.

We understand that seeking help can be scary and difficult. Unbound Recovery, LLC works closely with patients, their families, and health care professionals to create individualized and wrap around treatment plans for adolescents (12-17) and adults (18+). Our staff of licensed mental health professionals and registered dietitians is dedicated to meeting each patient exactly where they’re at and walking with them toward healing and lasting recovery.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintains and enforces clinical program structure and policies of Unbound Recovery.

- Is creative in therapeutic interventions to include homework assignments, food exposures, supervised outings, etc.
- Effectively communicates with the patient's outpatient care team, including outpatient therapist, primary care physician, psychiatrist, etc. to ensure continuity of care.
- Actively participates in weekly multidisciplinary team meetings for the purpose of case review and discharge planning.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge and practice of effective counseling skills and therapeutic interventions specific to eating disorder treatment.
- Demonstrates an ability to build therapeutic rapport with patients and their families.
- Maintains professional credentialing with insurance panels.
- Communicates regularly with the office staff regarding patient schedules and information necessary to billing.
- Timely completion and accuracy of clinical paperwork: progress notes, group notes, etc.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Licensed dietitian in the State of Kansas.
- Clinical understanding of the treatment of eating disorders. (Will provide specific eating disorder training).
- Experience working individually and in groups with eating disordered patients, preferred. Significant interest in this patient population is acceptable as extensive on-the-job training in the field is provided.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
