One of our top clients is seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Dietitian (RDN) to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring our residents receive optimal nutritional care to promote their health and well-being.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments for residents.
- Develop and implement individualized nutrition care plans considering resident preferences, cultural needs, and medical conditions.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize resident care.
- Educate residents, families, and staff on healthy eating habits and dietary needs.
- Monitor and document resident progress and make adjustments to care plans as needed.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in geriatric nutrition.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives for the dietary department.
Qualifications:
- Registered Dietitian (RDN) license in the state of Oregon.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a long-term care setting preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in electronic documentation systems.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
