Overview:
RD Nutrition Consultants LLC is excited to offer an opportunity for a Clinical Registered Dietitian to join our team. This role allows the Dietitian to work a flexible hybrid schedule with one onsite visit per week and the remaining hours completed remotely.
Schedule: 20 hrs/ week, 60% remote via telehealth.
Flexibility: One onsite visit per week and remaining hours completed remotely. Choose your days and hours.
Compensation: $36.00-$40.00 per hour, based on experience.
Travel/Commute Compensation: you commute time paid at your hourly rate with additional mileage reimbursement.
Experience & Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year clinical experience (preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree, majoring in food and nutrition
- Current state licensure/certification (if mandated by the state)
- Registered with the Commission on Dietetics Registration
- Familiarity with state survey processes and adhering to nutrition care regulations
- Competency in electronic charting systems
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments for residents and patients
- Offer specialized support for tube feedings
- Deliver nutritional counseling and educational sessions for residents and their families
- Ensure compliance with DOH/state/federal regulations and uphold company standards
- Work autonomously without the need for regular training or direction
Desired Skills:
- Clinical Expertise: Ability to apply MNT to develop personalized nutrition plans for patients with various conditions.
- Assessment & Planning: Nutritional assessments, individualized care plans, collaboration with healthcare team.
- Communication & Relationships: Patient education, diverse populations, building rapport with residents and staff.
- Additional Skills: Food service, regulations, EHR proficiency, quality improvement (consider adding research, wound care, or dysphagia management as desired).
