Bonuses: $15K Sign -on Bonus for FT employees paid out in two installments 90 day/1 year (pay period after those dates); $5K Relocation Bonus paid out within 45 days; $5 critical bonus on top of base rate based on regular hours worked $8/hr call pay (averages 100 hours/month) If called in, it will be base pay + overtime + $17.66/hr (call in rate)

Job Summary:
- The Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist I provide professional care in the SHVI Invasive Cardiac Pediatric and Peripheral Laboratories in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
- The Specialist may be required to work at any SHVI location on a temporary operational need or training basis or semi-permanent assignment.
- The Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist assists in maintaining a safe work environment and performs all related job responsibilities in a safe manner.
- The Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist maintains clinical and professional competency as appropriate to the age's developmental stages and special needs of the patients served.
- Responsible for assisting unit efforts in performance excellence growth quality customer service employee engagement and community benefit.

- Performs care for the comfort and well-being of the patient.
- Performs and/or assists with treatments therapies and procedures (including scrub assistant monitoring and circulating) under the direction of the physician.
- Administers medication under the direct supervision of the physician.
- Documents a current clinical picture and records designated information in the patient record.
- Physical Requirements Intermittent to rapid pace with high pressure situations, requiring periods of prolonged concentration and critical thinking.
- Work requires walking, standing, sitting, lifting, reaching, stooping, bending, pushing, and pulling.
- Must be able to lift and support the weight of 50 pounds in handling patients, medical equipment, and supplies.
- Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- Intact sense of sight, hearing, smell, touch, manual dexterity, good eye hand coordination.
- Standing and walking while wearing 10-20 lbs lead radiation protection aprons.
- Must be able to respond quickly to changes in patient and/or unit conditions.
- Potential exposure to radiation, secretions, and blood.
- Confined work area
- Invasive Cardiovascular Specialist/Electrophysiology Specialist training or experience preferred.
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist Certification, Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist Certification and/or equivalent certification required.
- Must Maintains current BLS, ACLS and CCI requirements.
- Satisfactory completion of high school and an accredited program of Cardiovascular/Cardiopulmonary technology, The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, nursing, or related field required.
- BLS
- CVT, RTR, RCIS, or RECS

- RCIS who can scrub, circulate, and monitor cases in a busy high acuity Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory.
- Supports 6 Cardiovascular Procedure Rooms that perform high risk PCIs, ECMOs, Impeller, TAVR, CTO, Watchman, and Structural Heart. Level 1 Code STEMI Trauma Center.
