Schedule: 4x10's 7:30a - 6p
Weekend/Float Requirements: To discuss during interview, will be based on unit need.
Certification/Licensure/Additional Requirements: BLS (completed through AHA or ARC only), CVT, RTR, RCIS, or RECS and Electro physiology required.
Not Required, but HIGHLY preferred: Invasive Cardiovascular Specialist/Electro physiology Specialist training or experience.
The worker must either live within 45 minutes of the facility or be relocating to the area.
Incentives/Relocation Assistance:
$15K Sign -on Bonus for FT employees paid out in two installments 90 day/1 year (pay period after those dates); $5K Relocation Bonus paid out within 45 days; $5 critical bonus on top of base rate based on regular hours worked $8/hr call pay (averages 100 hours/month) If called in, it will be base pay + overtime + $17.66/hr (call in rate)
- The Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist I provide professional care in the SHVI Invasive Cardiac Pediatric and Peripheral Laboratories in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
- The Specialist may be required to work at any SHVI location on a temporary operational need or training basis or semi-permanent assignment.
- The Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist assists in maintaining a safe work environment and performs all related job responsibilities in a safe manner.
- The Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist maintains clinical and professional competency as appropriate to the age's developmental stages and special needs of the patients served.
- Responsible for assisting unit efforts in performance excellence growth quality customer service employee engagement and community benefit.

- Performs care for the comfort and well-being of the patient.
- Performs and/or assists with treatments therapies and procedures (including scrub assistant monitoring and circulating) under the direction of the physician.
- Administers medication under the direct supervision of the physician.
- Documents a current clinical picture and records designated information in the patient record.
- Intermittent to rapid pace with high pressure situations, requiring periods of prolonged concentration and critical thinking.
- Work requires walking, standing, sitting, lifting, reaching, stooping, bending, pushing, and pulling.
- Must be able to lift and support the weight of 50 pounds in handling patients, medical equipment, and supplies.
- Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- Intact sense of sight, hearing, smell, touch, manual dexterity, good eye hand coordination.
- Standing and walking while wearing 10-20 lbs lead radiation protection aprons.
- Must be able to respond quickly to changes in patient and/or unit conditions.
- Potential exposure to radiation, secretions, and blood.
- Invasive Cardiovascular Specialist/Electro physiology Specialist training or experience preferred.
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist Certification, Registered Cardiovascular Electro physiology Specialist Certification and/or equivalent certification required.
- Must Maintains current BLS, ACLS and CCI requirements.
