We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our dynamic medical team. This full-time, permanent position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment, providing behavior intervention services to patients with various behavioral and developmental disorders. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in behavior analysis and a passion for improving patient lives through effective, evidence-based treatment strategies.
Responsibilities:
As a Registered Behavior Technician, your primary responsibilities will include:
1. Implementing behavior intervention plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA) to help patients improve their behavioral and social skills.
2. Collecting and recording data on patient behavior, progress, and responses to interventions.
3. Assisting in the development of treatment plans based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
4. Providing direct one-on-one therapy and skill development training to patients in various settings, including homes, schools, and community environments.
5. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
6. Maintaining clear and accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
7. Participating in ongoing professional development activities and staying current with the latest research and best practices in behavior analysis.
8. Ensuring patient safety and maintaining professional and ethical standards at all times.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:
1. A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Behavior Technician or in a similar role.
2. Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
3. Proven experience in implementing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) programs and interventions.
4. Excellent understanding of behavior analysis principles and techniques.
5. Proficient in data collection and analysis.
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and their families.
7. Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
8. High level of patience, empathy, and sensitivity to the needs of patients with behavioral and developmental disorders.
9. Current CPR and First Aid certification.
10. A clean background check and drug screen.
