RBTs: We’re Hiring! Join our team as a School-Based Registered Behavior Technician in Hayward, CA!
We are seeking a dedicated Full-time Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) in-person to join our team for a school-based assignment in Hayward, CA. As an RBT, you'll play a crucial role with a student in a 1-on-1 support setting. The RBT will help the student develop their behavioral skills through assessments, consults, and direct services to the student with behavior needs to reach their full potential.

Responsibilities:
Operate as a Special Circumstances Instructional Assistant (SCIA) with a 1-on-1 student.
Understand and apply the basic principles of ABA with 1 assigned student as directed.
Conduct behavior assessments (Woodcock-Johnson IV/informal assessments) to determine the complex needs of individuals with behavior challenges.
Collect and submit data needed for Functional Behavioral Assessments and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP).
Implement behavior intervention plans for assigned the student.
Provide direct consultation to the BCBA, specific to analysis of data and recommendations for modifications or revisions to BIPs.
Implement direct behavior service minutes and consultation for the qualified student according to the IEP.
Provide training and ongoing support to clients, families, and educational teams on the use of behavior strategies.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure a holistic approach to each student's goals.
Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification valid in the state of California
At least 2 years of school-based experience implementing ABA interventions and or supervising programs for students with Autism and related disabilities
Experience working 1-on-1 with a high needs student
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong speaking, writing, and listening skills and the ability to work as a collaborative and supportive team member
Ability to build rapport with staff.
