HFS Company is a recognized Architecture/Engineering/Construction project management and consulting firm working on a variety of federal, military, and commercial projects throughout the US and Europe. We provide full-service A/E design and support services across the entire lifecycle of our clients' facilities and assist our clients to reach their capital improvement goals.
We are expanding and looking to add a Registered Architect to our team to grow with us, working on a diverse array of cool projects and making an impact on the clients we serve.

- Manage and prepare architectural designs, studies, specifications, cost proposals, and construction cost estimates
- Participate in all project phases, including conceptual designs, presentations, schematic design, design development, construction documents and construction administration
- Collaborate with clients, consultants, contractors, regulatory agencies and various other design team members to meet overall project objectives
- Attend design review and construction meetings on projects locally and out of state
- Conduct site visits and field QA/QC and system deficiency reviews
- Coordination with design team from inception to completion on a project-specific basis
- Flexibility, if called upon, to act as project manager on various other AE projects when needed that may fall outside of your professional expertise
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Architecture degree from a NAAB accredited university
- Registered Architect (RA) in any one of the 50 U.S. states
- NCARB certification desirable
- 5+ years recent experience in building design as a registered architect
- Knowledge of building design and construction means, methods and techniques
- Knowledge of relevant building codes and accessibility requirements
- Knowledge of Building Information Modeling (BIM) and parametric design software
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills including ability to write clearly to communicate technical issues and design ideas
- Proficient with AutoCAD and BIM (Revit) modeling
- Proficient knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook)
- Federal, healthcare facility and LEED experience a plus
- Ability to pass basic background check for entry to US government-owned facilities
