Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Registered Architect who will play a key role in our design and project management processes. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of architectural principles, regulations, and best practices, and will be responsible for leading and overseeing various architectural projects from concept to completion.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and project teams to develop creative and functional design concepts that meet client objectives and project requirements.
• Create detailed architectural drawings, 3D models, and presentations to communicate design ideas effectively.
• Ensure that designs comply with building codes, zoning regulations, and sustainability standards.
• Project Management:
• Lead project teams, including junior architects and designers, to ensure project goals and timelines are met.
• Develop project scopes, budgets, and schedules, and monitor progress to ensure adherence to plans.
• Coordinate and manage consultants, contractors, and vendors to ensure project success.

• Regulatory Compliance:
• Stay up-to-date with local, state, and national building codes, zoning regulations, and permit requirements.
• Prepare and submit permit applications and coordinate with relevant authorities to secure approvals.
• Construction Documentation:
• Prepare comprehensive construction documents, including detailed plans, specifications, and materials schedules.
• Review and oversee the bidding process, contractor selection, and construction administration to ensure compliance with design intent.
• Quality Assurance:
• Conduct regular site visits and inspections to ensure construction quality and adherence to design specifications.
• Address design-related issues and provide solutions during construction phases.
• Client Engagement:
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and understanding of client needs and expectations.
• Present design proposals and project updates to clients and stakeholders, incorporating feedback into project revisions.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
• Licensed as a Registered Architect (RA)
• Minimum of 3 years of architectural experience, including experience in project management.
• Proficiency in architectural design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong knowledge of building codes, zoning regulations, and sustainability principles.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality design solutions.
• LEED accreditation (preferred but not required).
