Essential Duties:
- Assist in developing a service plan to cover Illinois Department of Human Services Region 4. This will include a scan of prevention services in the region (pregnancy, violence, bullying, etc.), designing approaches for integrating substance use prevention services, and utilizing the 6 CSAP strategies to focus on localizing substance use prevention through service integration.
- Identify and approach prevention-type organizations throughout IDHS Region 4 to assess and engage in the expansion of current services to include substance use prevention
- Collaborate to build and support a Regional Advisory Board consisting of individuals from the wide array of prevention-type organizations throughout Region 4.
- Provide training and support of prevention organizations on how to identify substance use prevention needs and how to decide what strategies to utilize throughout the service area(s)
- Function as a regional substance use prevention subject matter expert.
Schedule: Monday - Friday (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM)
Start Date: ASAP
Pay Range: $60,000 - $70,000

Required Experience:
Education and/or Experience: High School Diploma or GED required; A minimum of five years' experience implementing, supervising, or providing technical assistance in Substance Use Prevention programming or a combination of education and experience required.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Current driver's license and vehicle insurance.
