DescriptionThis position is located at our corporate headquarters in Prairie du Sac, WI but will be expected to travel and serve customers in the Northeast (Maine, New York, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island) part of the United States. Travel expectations are equal to 70%.
POSITION OVERVIEW: Sales is the engine that drives our global consumer reach in the Sports Medicine category. The role demands a leader with a sharp mind, ability to coach, advise, motivate, or replace sales representatives to build and maintain a high-performance team. Sales:- Conduct customer site visits and follow-up on past orders.
- Visit schools, team dealers, retailers, sports therapy, and pharmacy.
- Introduce new products to customers.
- Initiate new or fill in orders.
- Generate leads, make sales presentations and product demonstrations, quote, close sales and process customer orders.
- Advise independent sales representatives in each territory.
- Conduct product training sessions with team/retail accounts sales force and sales associates.
- Attend trade shows and clinics (trainer, coaches, buying groups, retail, etc.).
- Assist with Mueller Sports Medicine (MSM) display set-up and/or resetting.

Administrative- Active participation in Teams and on-site meetings.
- Complete appropriate paperwork in a timely manner.
- Communicate with sales associates and sales leadership on a weekly basis.

Learning & Development- Work with corporate associates to learn facts and features of product lines.
- Travel to shadow and assist Regional Sales Managers and others in Leadership conduct sales calls.

QualificationsMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in sales, marketing, business or other related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the position functions of the job.
Retail or other sales experience.
Ambition, drive, tenacity and a passion to learn and grow.
Ability to understand and comply with Mueller Safety Systems and current regulatory requirements.
