Our client is a leading manufacturer of outdoor recreation and fitness equipment. They are seeking to hire a Regional Sales and Operations Manager responsible for mentoring and developing a team of sales executives and driving new business operations within the region. The Manager will develop and implement strategies to help identify new leads and business opportunities. Target focus includes but not limited to: Architectural Contractors, Landscape Contractors, Builders, Housing Complexes, and Schools/Education (Day Care, K-12+), Fitness Facilities, Recreation Centers and Retail.
Location: Pacific NW: WA, OR & NorCal (Must reside in the Sacramento to San Francisco area)
Responsibilities:
- Mentor and coach a sales team
- Manage the development and performance of the sales team
- Oversee sales team management of leads and new business opportunities, ensure follow up
- Develop strategic sales plans to increase sales revenue
- Establish and maintain client relationships
- Create and implement sales processes and procedures
- Drive sales, efficiencies and promote growth within region
- Monitor the Sales team’s sales activity, analyze and report KPIs
- Collaborate with leadership to develop sales best practices
- Keep well-informed of available products/solutions, competitors, market trends
- Attend trade shows, conferences and events
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Min. 5+ years of B2B Sales Management experience
- Experience within the recreation, construction, architectural and/or commercial building supply industry required
- P&L management experience
- Experience mentoring and developing a sales team
- Background in change management and financial modeling
- Experience building sales processes and developmental plans for a sales team
- Ability to initiate and build relationships with key decision makers
- Experience with CRM system (Salesforce)
- Strong relationship and partnership building skills
- Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills
- Ability to travel within the territory up to 50%
Offering:
- Base Salary up to $120,000 – $140,000 (based on experience)
- Bonus Potential, Yr. 1 to $165,000+
