Regional Sales Mgr
Description
* Drive product knowledge, channel acceptance, and sales productivity in the Consumer market.
* Establish competitive programs and other market intelligence to support new dealer recruitment.
* Develop and implement plans and strategies to cultivate new business opportunities.
* Promote Textron products and train dealer sales personnel to ensure full cycle sales activities are successfully executed.
* Relay information to other company personnel concerning possible field product problems.
* Develop existing channel partners with the implementation of support tools and training to drive organic growth within the Consumer business.
* Perform territory and market competitive analysis to support channel development and recruitment.
* Provide input to the management team on development of new product or service features that will meet current and future customer needs while also developing and implementing strategies to cultivate new business opportunities.
* Collaborate with internal departments in the development and implementation of strategies, plans, and business models.
* Requires 60% travel, to include overnight travel as needed to service and satisfy customer needs.
Qualifications
* Education: Bachelor's degree in business administration or related discipline required, MBA preferred
* Years of experience:5 or more years of experience in business development, channel partner relationships, or other relevant roles required
* Software Knowledge: Microsoft Office and SalesForce
* Must possess a valid driver's license and must comply with TSV Pool, Fleet, and DOT policies
