We're hiring a Regional Sales Manager to join our Mortgage Banking Team in Pittsburgh, PA and Baltimore, MD.
Responsibilities:Recruiting, training, and coaching sales team to achieve production, service, and integration objectives
Developing referral sources for sales group from builder, realtor and professional organizations
Resolving issues which may arise related to consumers or employees in accordance with Univest principles
Organizing the sales team to most appropriately take advantage of the opportunities presented
Making recommendations regarding product needs and changing market factors
Ensuring production quality exceeds standards set by investors and Univest
Ensure sales activities are conducted in compliance with government laws and regulations and in accordance with
Univest’s Policies and Procedures, including the Univest Code of Conduct
Perform additional duties as required
Qualifications:High School Diploma; College degree in business, finance or economics area a plus
Minimum 5+ years in a mortgage sales management role; 10+ years in Mortgage Banking/Real Estate
Proven ability to recruit, train, motivate and manage sales team
Goal oriented, self-starter who can develop and deliver on a business plan
Extensive familiarity with residential mortgage programs (Fannie, Freddie, jumbo, government, HE)
Understanding of structuring deals with consumers and mortgage pricing
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to quickly grasp new programs
Excellent interpersonal skills and can resolve issues (customer or employee) quickly and fairly
Excellent verbal communication skills; solid written communication skills
Demonstrated PC skills, including Microsoft Office. Familiarity with Encompass LOS a plus
Established relationships and credibility in the marketplace with realtors, builders, professional organizations and other sourcing channels
Experience within a regulated banking environment a plus
Wage Range:
The salary for this position ranges starts from $75,000 + Overrides
