About the Role
The Regional Sales Manager will represent Tate Access Floors in the market, demonstrating professionalism and a deep understanding of both sales and technical expertise. This individual will be responsible for positioning Tate as the preferred manufacturer and supplier of access floor systems, containment systems, structural ceiling systems, and value-added products. The Regional Sales Manager will play a key role in building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, driving sales growth, and ensuring Tate's continued leadership in the industry.
What You’ll Do
- Promote the sale of Tate products to meet or exceed the Sales Budget.
- Identify opportunities early to provide maximum visibility of the order pipeline.
- Create preferences for Tate products through specification promotion.
- Establish positive relationships with Owners, Architects, Contractors, Dealers and other key influencers.
- Successfully managing the budget/bid process by understanding the project requirements, specifications, project scope, providing competitive pricing direction. Follow up on outstanding bids to stay engaged with the sales process and to help close the sale.
- Provide presentations on Tate products with the goal being to grow the market penetration rate of buildings designed with underfloor service distribution.
- Assist Architectural / Engineering community with specifications, project details, lessons learned best practices, helping to position Tate as the go to company for Data Center products.
Bid Management:
- Prepare project cost estimate to effectively evaluate bid price recommendations.
- Make pricing decisions based on the competitive environment, factory loading, margin targets and other considerations.
Dealer / Customer Management:
- Manage distribution in assigned territory maintaining a Tate market share greater than 65%.
- Assist in positioning Tate dealers to be the preferred supplier and installer of Tate products.
- Establish and maintain trust between Tate dealers in multiple distribution markets.
- Establish and maintain an open line of communication with Tate dealers ensuring a mutually beneficial relationship built on good communication and trust.
- Work with Tate Customer Service Representative (CSR) to ensure dealers are getting the necessary support for pricing requests, material requests, delivery requests, etc., to the dealer’s satisfaction.
Tate Project Information Management:
- Maintain project tracking in Sales Force CRM. Record pricing, contacts and key activities for all projects.
- Participate in Tate monthly call with Sales Director to review projects, information, strategies, issues, and concerns as necessary and relative to the projects, the region, the competition, dealers, and or the individual.
- Review monthly sales, booking and backlog reports.
Membership Organizations:
- Actively participate in membership organizations that will benefit Tate, enabling networking opportunities and ability to create quality business relationships.
Other:
- Position requires travel as necessary across assigned region and to Tate Corporate based out of home office.
- Ability to interpret Architectural plans and specifications.
- Experience in product sales into Data Center environment preferred.
- Competitive base salary commensurate with experience level plus annual bonus potential of up to 50% of the base salary.
- Provide cross territory support to fellow Regional Mangers in the promotion of Tate Products.
Additional Expectation
- Remain compliant with the Code of Conduct and Policies which includes the Kingspan Group Compliance Policy.
- Ensure that all duties related to product compliance are adhered to in accordance with the Product Compliance Policy, Laws, Regulations, and market demands.
- Responsible for all tasks to achieve compliance goals and demands of the Compliance Management System.
- Must raise concerns related to the Compliance Management System to their supervisor, manager, or any member of the Leadership Team, or through the confidential whistle blower service.
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, marketing, or a technical field (such as engineering or architecture)
- Self-motivated Team Player with excellent communication and presentation skills to establish and maintain long term relationships with key Customers, Architects, Contractors, and Dealers.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a similar sales position.
- Experience in the Data Center environment is highly preferred.
- Competency in MS Office Suite of applications.
Salary Range and Employee Benefits
- Annual Salary Range: USD 160000 to USD 180000
