It is headquartered in Minneapolis, with teams focused on sales, marketing and operations. The company has been a three-time James Beard Foundation semi-finalist. Currently we have a team of five regional managers who cover sales across the country. There is also a separate team serving on/off-premise customers in the New York market.
The Opportunity
We're seeking a highly motivated and qualified person to join the team as a sixth regional manager, covering the upper midwestern states. The position is both demanding and rewarding, as your success in role will go hand in hand with Haus Alpenz growth. Reporting to the owner, and in collaboration with national sales and portfolio managers, you will drive profitable revenue growth across the product portfolio in territory including Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota and Wisconsin. What you will do:
ALL Drive profitable sales across the Haus Alpenz portfolio according to company priorities
• Build and maintain strong relationships at the wholesaler/distributor level to plan and execute market-specific initiatives
• Collaborate closely with Haus Alpenz sales team to develop effective sales practices and tactics for specific categories/products/buyer types
• Understand and synthesize selling points including people/profile/purpose of products that may be unfamiliar to potential buyers
The Candidate
• Experienced in the wine/spirits industry at the regional management level or as distributor sales representative
• Preference for direct on or off-premise experience in beverage alcohol
• Strong knowledge base across spirits and cocktails, as well as wine
• Well-connected within the world of beverage alcohol
• Tech savvy including sales management systems, spreadsheets, social media and photography
• Excellent time management skills with demonstrated ability to juggle priorities as dictated by business needs
• Strong public speaking and presentation experience in a sales context
• Self-motivated with demonstrated ability to set and achieve ambitious goals
• Proactive in assessing opportunities and articulating opinions
• Resourceful with travel, primarily by car within and between states
• Valid US driver's license, reliable and insured vehicle, clean driving record
• Valid US passport for international travel as and when required
Compensation and Benefits
• Base compensation tailored to relevant level of experience and expertise
• 401(k) plan and variable annual bonus/profit-sharing

• Reimbursement for work-related travel expenses, including car/mileage
