BlackRock Resources is seeking candidates for a Regional Sales Manager opportunity in the Greater Toronto area. Our client is a global leader in industrial automation. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and excellent benefits.

- The Regional Sales Manager's (RSM) primary focus is promoting and selling all products and services within the defined territory.
- Drive top line growth through existing sales channels of a manufacturer's rep network, OEM accounts, industrial distribution, and direct sales.
- Requirements include calling on engineering and EPC firms to ensure products are specified for new projects (domestic and international), calling on end users for MRO business, and establishing new sales channels for the various markets (Power, Oil and Gas, Heavy Industry, etc.).
- Day-to-day, the RSM will maintain/update a database of active projects, work the territory plan, interface with their assigned inside sales person, and report on market conditions.
- Bachelors degree in engineering, or similar degree with relevant work experience.
- 5+ years experience of industrial automation equipment sales.
- Experience working in the Greater Toronto area with clients in the markets listed above.
- Must have valid driver's license and passport.
- Must be open to traveling up to 50% with some overnight stays.
