Position Summary:
Working independently and collaboratively with others, this position plays an integral role in executing our mission, philosophy, and commitment to providing high quality products and exceptional customer service to our internal and external customers. In addition to maintaining a high level of trust, integrity and ethical standards, all employees are also expected to promote a culture of safety by following all safety procedures, protocols and guidelines while working in a manner that minimizes the risk of damage to property and injury to the employee and others.
Responsible for meeting or exceeding annual sales targets for Warn products in the assigned region through market development and growth of channel and customer relationships.
Warn is looking for two driven Regional Sales Managers to join our dynamic team. We are looking for one RSM to be based in Texas, and one in the Southwest region of the United States.
Essential Functions:
+ Responsible for ensuring that competent service and support is readily available for any Warn customer within the assigned territory and/or region.
+ Annually develops and executes a sales plan for the assigned region in support of the corporate annual operating plan and the company 3-year strategic plan.
+ Manages assigned expense budgets for the region along with accurately forecasting expenses on a monthly basis.
+ Accurately forecasts annual, quarterly and monthly sales for assigned territory.
+ Provides quarterly presentations on territory/customer performance and results.
+ Creates and presents comprehensive product training to all customers.
+ Performs data analysis and strategic planning for customer performance measures.
+ Works closely with Director of Sales in developing customer account strategies and tactics.
+ Provides data, analysis and field input relative to competitive products, sales activities, promotions, new product opportunities and the overall business environment within the assigned region.
+ Reviews & recommends sales opportunities in conjunction with the Director of Sales and manages risks in sales territory.
+ May manage independent representatives as required by the company.
+ Maintains and updates all customer information in CRM. Actively supports CRM account management and communication on a regular basis.
Position Specific Requirements:
+ Experience and proven results in long term strategic business plan development & implementation. That result in consecutive year over year increases in sales and profit.
+ Proven ability to develop and nurture strategic business relationships with all levels of management within assigned customer base.
+ Proven success creating & implementing complex sales plans specific to channel and customer with consecutive years of sales and profit growth.
+ Possesses a comprehensive understanding of Warn's entire product line, including extensive field experience using product.
+ Proficient in creating and managing yearly financial budgets including travel, show, co-op and related business expenses.
+ Is capable, as needed to effectively assume project and/or product management activities and drive to completion.
+ Exhibits leadership skills, and is able to effectively communicate with all departments within Warn.
+ Travels extensively to customer locations, trade shows or events within assigned territory by car and/or airplane (50% or more).
Required Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university is preferred, self employed history in lieu of college degree considered.
+ One to four years of experience required in sales and marketing management, preferably with an automotive, industrial, fire and rescue, or technical consumer products company.
+ Experience in selling automotive, truck, military, fire and rescue, or off-highway mobile equipment products to original equipment manufacturers and industrial distributors.
+ Demonstrated success in product presentation, training and technical selling.
+ Must have comprehensive understanding of one or more of the following markets: automotive, truck, military, fire and rescue, or off-highway mobile equipment markets including but not limited to - Sales and marketing, consultative selling, and account field sales expertise.

+ Strong oral and written communication skills commensurate with the job tasks and position necessary to communicate clearly and effectively with internal and external customers, within all levels of assigned customers and cross-functional groups within Warn, while providing exceptional quality of work and outstanding customer service. Ability to present information in a manner designed to educate or inform other team members and customers in one-on-one or group interactions as directed.
+ Strong MS Office Proficiency, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint.
+ Ability to create, review, comprehend, interpret, process and evaluate effectively written documents at the highest levels in English, in conjunction with the performance of the essential functions and other assigned job duties. Must have mathematical skills equivalent to those required under education and/or experience.
+ Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills including ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced work environment while maintaining a calm, rational and respectful demeanor and communication style in times of stress occasioned by work demands, tight timelines, high expectations, unexpected issues, and other work-related issues or concerns that may cause a heightened level of anxiety, frustration, anger, disappointment, confusion, etc.

+ Strong technical, troubleshooting, problem solving, research, organizational and analytical skills, combined with the ability to prioritize tasks and establish and meet deadlines. The ability to multitask is also essential while remaining flexible with changing priorities and deadlines.
+ Well-reasoned decision making with a high attention to detail regarding organization, planning, workflow, and project prioritization to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and accurately.
+ Highly ethical, self-motivated individual with ability to work independently and/or with limited direction, while consistently demonstrating collaborative, respectful and productive work habits.

Ability to read, write, verbalize and comprehend instructions and correspondence in English at the highest levels. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and group situations to customers, clients, and other team members. Conflict resolution. Excellent interpersonal skills. Mathematical Skills:
Must have mathematical skills equivalent to those required under degree requirement.
Physical and Visual Activities:
Standing, walking, sitting, lifting, carrying, balancing, stooping, reaching, handling, feeling, talking, hearing, acuity-far, acuity-near, depth perception and field of vision.
Physical Demands:
May require a combination of sitting, standing, and walking daily. May require prolonged standing at trade shows. May require lifting up to 50 pounds at shows/demonstrations. Requires extensive (50% or more) travel by car or plane.
Environment/Atmospheric Conditions:
Must be able to work in an office environment, a shop environment and an in-field environment as job duties require. May be exposed to loud operating machinery, cold temperatures, chemicals, and vapors. Must be able to travel extensively within assigned region.
