Position: Regional Sales Manager (RSM)
Location: Near a major airport in the assigned region
Travel: 50%

Role Overview:
As the Regional Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in expanding APG's market presence and driving revenue growth within your territory. Your primary responsibilities will involve identifying, developing, and maintaining new business opportunities across our extensive range of industrial process measurement and control products. You will leverage your established relationships and industry expertise to deliver customized solutions that meet the unique needs of our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development: Proactively target, penetrate, and cultivate new sales opportunities. Develop and maintain relationships with OEMs, integrators, distributors, and direct accounts to expand our customer base.
- Sales Forecasting: Collaborate with the Sales Team to set and achieve new business sales forecasts. Meet or exceed targets for new account acquisitions and sales revenue.
- Customer Solutions: Partner with customers to understand their needs and provide innovative product and service solutions that address their specific requirements.
- Sales Process Management: Maintain a robust sales management process, ensuring that customer contacts, qualifications, quotes, and pertinent information are accurately documented and accessible to the APG team.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree (BA) from an accredited four-year college or university. Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in selling through manufacturer's representatives, distributors, OEMs, and direct accounts.
- Skills:
- Proven ability to present effectively at the executive level.
- Demonstrated success in developing new accounts and entering new markets.
- Experience in managing large-scale product development and sales projects.
- Travel: Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
- Location: Must reside near a major airport to facilitate travel requirements.
- Requirements: Valid driver's license and passport.
