We are currently seeking a dedicated individual for an exciting newly created position within our esteemed client's organization. As a premier distributor in the RF/Microwave industry, our client boasts a diverse portfolio catering to a range of sectors including Midwest DOD contractors, commercial enterprises, industrial entities, communication firms, and aerospace industries. Position Overview:
As the Regional Sales Manager (RSM), you will be instrumental in driving sales growth within your designated Midwest territory. This individual contributor role requires in-depth knowledge of the RF industry coupled with a knack for relationship building and proactive sales strategies. While the role offers the flexibility of remote work, we require candidates to be based in either Chicago, IL, or Des Moines, IA.
Key Responsibilities:
Meet or exceed regional sales targets by effectively promoting RF/Microwave and fiber optic products.
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to capitalize on market opportunities and expand customer base.
Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders within the territory, ensuring a positive customer experience throughout the sales process.
Collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners to address customer needs and drive business growth.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
Five years of prior experience in the RF/Microwave industry or demonstrated product knowledge.
Familiarity with RF/Microwave market segments and customer base.
Proven track record of successful sales and account management in the RF sector.
Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation.
Ability to work effectively in a remote home office environment.
