The Opportunity
As a Regional Sales Manager, you'll play a vital role in our business, overseeing all aspects of customer accounts within your assigned region. Your primary objective will be to surpass quarterly sales targets for our production metal additive printers. Additionally, you'll identify and cultivate markets and customers with potential interest in our products and services. We're seeking a creative individual who can develop innovative strategies to introduce our brand to the market and collaborate with our marketing team to generate leads.
Key Responsibilities
Initiate and follow up on sales leads, focusing on new production volume business opportunities.
Engage with senior-level executives, respond to inquiries, and drive sales campaigns using our established sales process.
Secure new orders, negotiate pricing and delivery terms to optimize profitability.
Develop and maintain a sales pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting and timely execution.
Represent the company at industry trade shows and exhibitions.
Provide exceptional service to existing accounts while seeking opportunities for new business.
Act as the primary liaison between customers and our internal teams.
Offer insights to our marketing and product management teams based on market trends and customer feedback.
Maintain accurate records of sales activities using our CRM system.
Prepare and submit reports as required, ensuring consistency and accuracy of data across internal systems.
Adhere to company policies and procedures, embodying our commitment to professionalism and continuous improvement.
Minimum Requirements
5+ years of experience in B2B capital equipment sales, with a track record of success.
Demonstrated expertise in C-Level sales and financial value selling.
Knowledge of additive manufacturing or related industries is advantageous.
Strong technical aptitude to facilitate meaningful conversations with customers.
Excellent communication and decision-making skills.
Self-motivated with the ability to travel up to 75% as needed.
Proficiency in CRM systems, preferably Salesforce.com.
Openness to new ideas and a willingness to adapt quickly.
Environmental Job Requirements and Working Conditions
This is a remote position, typically based in a home office.
Extensive travel is required to visit potential opportunities and customer locations, as well as occasional visits to our headquarters.
