About the Job
Background:
- TMS is hiring a Regional Sales Manager for all of our Eastern agencies. We are looking for someone who has previous experience in the commercial lighting industry and working with agents.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and generate profitable top line growth for assigned agencies
- Strategically schedule in-person and virtual agency visits
- Equip and train agencies on TMS products, policies and promotion programs
- Work as liaison between agencies and inside sales/quotes to meet customer needs
- Report voice of customer from territory visits on topics such as products, marketing, pricing, etc.
- Ensure that travel samples and displays are in good working condition
- Identify and support key agency events
- Participate in the planning and management of agent and specifier seminars and factory tours

- Covering the whole Eastern USA Territory – Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, Washington DC, Maryland, Delaware, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Connecticut, New York, Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine

- Hours: 40 hours/week Monday to Friday + any sales call travels
- Type: Hybrid. Remote work day-to-day and then traveling the country for sales calls when required
Qualifications
- Must have more than 5 years in the lighting industry
- Experience generating and maintaining relationships with customers and sales leads
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
