Position Summary & Primary Responsibilities
The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for meeting occupancy and revenue goals in close collaboration with corporate marketing and the Senior Living Consultants at the communities. This position is charged with promoting The Waters to create a positive image in the organization and among the community, referrals, potential residents and their families. The job requires an experienced and dynamic sales person to provide exceptional customer service, courtesy and respect in handling the following responsibilities:
• Achieve or exceed community and region-level occupancy budget
• Assessing the designated market to develop, in collaboration with the Sales and Marketing team, a
marketing plan and budget tailored to the particular geographic region in which community is located
• Guide Senior Living Consultants through external business development and advancing leads through the
sales process in order to meet established goals
• Leverage all revenue drivers (pricing, inventory services etc.) to optimize revenue
• On-boarding and training other sales team members
• Cover open Senior Living Consultant positions or develop coverage plans, as needed
• Responsible for the success of underperforming Memory care, Assisted Living and Independent Living
communities across Portfolio
• Implementing performance plans to coach and mentor underperformers
• Monitor trends of all communities to identify occupancy fluctuation and facilitate effective adjustments to yield desired results
• Hold Senior Living Consultants to SMART goals
• Support execution of sales and marketing plans and evaluate performance
• Execute operational processes to support and facilitate ease of marketing at the community level
• Works in collaboration with community level team members to establish and maintain a consistent
corporate image throughout all product lines, promotional materials, and events
Education & Experience
• Bachelor's Degree in communications, marketing, business, or related field preferred
• Proven track record of successful marketing and sales experience (established portfolio)
• Minimum three (3) years successful marketing and sales experience in a senior living community
• Candidates should be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
