Regional Sales Manager Job Description
The Western Regional Manager (RM) is responsible for overseeing territory sales within the Western Region. Qualified candidate needs to be located and reside in Southern California or Colorado Areas. The RM drives strategic initiatives for growth within the Region and is responsible for developing and motivating Territory Sales Representatives to achieve performance goals. In addition, the RM will support a selected group of Key Accounts.
Responsibilities
- Educate, train, develop and motivate Territory Sales Representatives to achieve performance goals
- Communicate and promote Nature's Plus core values and policies
- Consistently communicate territory success/challenges with the VP of Sales
- Identify and evaluate new market trends/opportunities within the Region
- Collaborate w/ Key Accounts in Region to improve penetration of NP brand
- Partner w/ Sales Administration to coordinate Sales Rep recruitment efforts
- Attend National Sales Meetings and Manager's Meetings
- Represent Nature's Plus at industry events
- Perform other work related duties and special projects as assigned
Requirements
- Need to be located and reside in Southern California or Colorado area
- Minimum 3-5 years of Sales Management
- Proven track record in leading a sales team to produce positive results
- Strong work ethic, passion for driving sales
- Ability to engage, inspire, and influence others
- Effective leadership and motivational skills
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and sales presentation skills
- Results driven, self-motivated
- Must be able to travel up to 75%
