Remote Position: Land Mobile Radio Regional Sales Manager

Key Responsibilities:
As the Land Mobile Radio Regional Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in planning, directing, and coordinating the sales and promotion of our products within a specific region. Your responsibilities will include:
Collaborating with manufacturer's representatives and organizations to drive sales within the assigned region.
Conducting on-site visits to assess competitive activity and support dealer organizations.
Coordinating efforts with various departments such as Research & Development, Service, and Credit to ensure smooth operations.
Overseeing the sales efforts of manufacturer representatives and coordinating advertising, training, and promotional activities.
Participating in the development and implementation of marketing plans for the assigned product group.
Analyzing sales data, preparing reports, and conducting sales meetings to enhance productivity.
Developing, implementing, and managing the budget for the territory.
Traveling up to 50% to meet business needs.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, along with at least five years of experience in the Land Mobile Radio Industry.
Proficiency in dealer sales management techniques, including merchandising, selling strategies, and inventory management.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to organize and implement sales programs effectively.
In-depth knowledge of the assigned product group and the regional market dynamics.
Working Relationships:
Reporting to the VP Sales - LMR for the Safety & Security Sector, you will collaborate daily with various company departments to address administrative issues. Additionally, you will coordinate with manufacturer representatives, dealers, and advertising agencies to drive sales programs within the region.
Problem Solving and Decision Making:
You will be tasked with resolving product availability and technical problems, finding creative solutions, and liaising with Research & Development and Service departments as needed.
Working Conditions:
This role primarily operates in a general office environment.
Duties involve sitting, standing, walking, and repetitive use of hands.
Some exposure to CRT radiation may occur.
Extensive automobile and air travel may be required.
