Summary
Responsible for overseeing & maintaining the daily and long-term sales goals across all divisions statewide. as a regional manager you will be responsible for setting and adjusting sales targets based on a deep knowledge of the day to day, weekly and monthly market conditions and opportunities available both current and long term. you will be a representative of Honsador Lumber and its affiliate businesses within the market responsible for developing both customer account relationships but also expected to participate in community and industry association events.
Role and Responsibilities Includes, but not limited to the following:
- Regular networking to develop and build new relationships with senior members of contractor accounts, developers, associations & government divisions statewide while strengthening existing.
- Participate as an active member of statewide industry associations such as BIA, GCA & HSA while including and developing fellow sales team members to be actively involved. Ideally becoming involved at a higher-level including group committees or board members.
- Build an industry leading sales team through training, coaching, mentoring sales staff with professional sales methods, processes, communication skills and procedures necessary to accomplish consistent service standards & sales growth.
- Gathering and distributing sales leads to GMs for assignment to their sales teams statewide. In addition to networking, an assortment of permitting and development tracking software tools are available.
- Support outside salespeople with account development and relationship building skills.
- Develop a sales tracker to provide weekly reporting of sales KPI’s, including but not limited to leads & opportunities issued, quotes issued, products offered per lead, follow-up status, awarded sales per division. GP, Gross sales, growth of new accounts, attrition through added products.
- Schedule regular “Teams” preset sales meetings with GM’s & OSR’s, per location.
- Quarterly account assessment reviews with the General Manager. Recommend changes and reassignment of accounts in an effort to provide the best service and sales growth potential.
- Monitor performance of all outside salespeople across all divisions including Truss, Lumber, HWT, Commercial, Packaged Homes & Doorshop.
- Address customer concerns, feedback and issues with the General Manager to help resolve in an expedited manner and avoid repeat occurrences.
- Work with location GMs to develop and maintain consistent service standards & processes provided by each location and their supporting teams.
- Ensure that all salespeople are providing a complete product offering to each and every job when quoting projects. All products we offer should be included and presented to the customer requested or not.
- Ensure that salespeople are practicing consistent timely follow-up processes, proving interest in earning the business and developing accounts assigned to them.
- Strategize effectively with all divisions to develop and present sales and marketing campaigns intended to drive sales and boost revenues.
- May participate in human resources related functions including interviewing, hiring, terminating, conducting performance evaluations of associates and creating structured sales compensations programs.
- Collaborate with GMs, Division Controller and Senior Director to set annual budget plans related to sales and selling expense targets.
- Participate in annual physical inventories as requested.
- As other duties as Assigned.

Education / Experience:
- Degree in Business, Marketing or other related field
- Minimum 8 years industry related experience in sales / marketing
- Minimum 3 years in a Regional or Division Sales role
Compensation details: 100000-125000 Yearly Salary
