Summary

We are seeking an ambitious and motivated Regional Sales Manager to join our dynamic team in the metal fabrication industry. This is a unique, once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to apprentice under the National Sales Manager, a seasoned industry expert with over 20 years of experience in sales. This role offers hands-on mentorship, and the selected candidate will be groomed to step into a key leadership position upon the retirement of the National Sales Manager next year. What We Are Looking For

• Sales Expertise

  Must have experience in selling

  
  

  press brakes, metal fabrication applications, and lasers, bending, forming, fibers, robotics, and welding within the context of metal fabrication.
• Technical Proficiency

  Candidates should have a deep understanding of the products they are selling, including the ability to install, answer technical questions, and operate equipment with confidence.

Responsibilities

• Serve as an apprentice to the National Sales Manager, learning the intricacies of the industry and preparing to step into a leadership role.
• Travel approximately 1/3 of the time to dealers, 1/3 to customers, and 1/3 will be spent in the office managing inside sales.
• Represent the company in sales meetings, trade shows, and customer sites, demonstrating technical knowledge and sales expertise.

Requirements

• Education & Experience

  Bachelor’s degree preferred, along with a proven record of success and career progression in sales.

  
  

• Metal Fabrication Sales Experience

  Prior experience in selling

  
  

  press brakes, lasers, metal forming machines, or similar equipment is required.
• Travel

  Must be willing to travel regularly out of Chicago and work closely with the team in Elgin, IL.

  
  

• Preferred

  Military experience is also highly valued.
