Position Summary:
We are currently recruiting for a Regional Sales Manager to join the existing Sales team in our Power & Industrial (P&I) Division. The successful candidate will be responsible for the Regional Gas Turbine Retrofits and Aftermarket industry by achieving the annual sales and aftermarket goals.
A degree of domestic and international travel will be required to fulfil the obligations of the role, therefore a valid passport and the ability to travel is essential.
Previous experience gained in an Air Filtration business would be a major advantage for this role.
Position Responsibilities:
- Primary role is to focus on end users, OEM’s, and distributors.
- Assume the Key Account Management role for certain applicable key accounts and some OEM’s.
- Achieve regional sales operational objectives; preparing and completing action plans; implementing customer-service standards; resolving problems; identifying trends;
- Meet regional sales financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analysing variances; initiating corrective actions.
- Establish sales objectives by creating a sales plan in support of national objectives.
- Maintain and expand customer base by building and maintaining rapport with key customers; identifying new customer opportunities and developing new or existing sales distributors and reps.
- Recommend product lines by identifying new product opportunities, and/or product, packaging, and service changes; surveying consumer needs and trends; tracking competitors.
- Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks.
- Accomplishes sales and organization mission by completing related results as needed.

Person Specification:
Education, Qualifications and Affiliations
Essential
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in an engineering related discipline i.e. mechanical, electrical, environmental, chemical, industrial.
*Completed qualifications from an accredited institution may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
Experience
Essential
- Demonstrable experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
- Proven sales or other commercial business experience. Preferably in a Energy business.
- Demonstrable experience in a front-line selling role.
- Sales channel creation and management experience.
- Experience of working independently with minimal supervision.
- A good track record of acquiring and maintaining direct sales.
- Ability to manage multiple commercial opportunities / tasks efficiently.
- Knowledge of filtration on rotating equipment.
- Experience of negotiating terms and conditions.
- Knowledge and experience of working proactively using a CRM (preferably Salesforce)
Desirable
- Experience with filtration product in a Sales, Estimating, or Project Management
Licenses or Certifications
