About the Job
Essentra is looking to hire a Regional Sales Manager, based out of Denver, CO. The Regional Sales Manager is responsible to provide "hands-on" and immediate business to business sales between manufacturing representatives, direct sales representatives, and customers within a defined territory to achieve pre-established sales objectives and margin targets set by executive management. The Regional Sales Manager meets with customers in person to identify their needs and close sales deals. Their main duties include traveling within their assigned territory to meet with potential and current customers, negotiating sales contracts, and telling clients about new products, updates and features. They also include forecasting updated and managing customer visits and pipeline opportunities through the Essentra CRM.
*Although this position is remote, the employee must be located in either the Denver metro area or Salt Lake City metro area*
Job Duties:
- Representative administration - daily communications, technical support, and action logs.
- Customer support - present proposals, technical support, samples, quotes and complaints.
- Territory support - trips with representatives for training, support and direction.
- Responsible for ensuring your assigned territory meets strategic and sales targets set by the region.
- Maximize profitability at the account level.
- Provide the proper level of communication to Essentra Management through monthly reporting, emails, phone, etc. as required to manage your territory.
- Conduct proper sales analysis to determine strengths and weaknesses within your territory.
- Provide strategic direction and leadership based on sales analysis for your territory.
- Project management duties as required for sampling, quoting and new product development.
