Regional Sales Manager – Semiconductor Solutions for Hi-Rel / Mil-Aero (Defense/Aerospace)

If so, we want you to join our team as the Regional Sales Manager – Semiconductor Solutions for Hi-Rel / Mil-Aero at Astute Electronics, Inc.
In this key leadership role, you will manage and inspire our Hi-Rel / Mil-Aero sales team, which includes both Internal Sales Executives and Field Sales Executives. Your leadership will drive the growth of our core services in the procurement and distribution of semiconductor solutions and electronic components for Military, Aerospace, Defense, and High-Reliability customers.

- Austin, TX
- Phoenix, AZ
- Tucson, AZ
- Denver, CO
- Colorado Springs, CO
- Huntsville, AL
Responsibilities:
- Lead, motivate, and mentor the Hi-Rel / Mil-Aero sales team, fostering individual and team success in achieving Gross Profit goals.
- Inspire and drive performance of both Internal Sales Executives and Field Sales Executives while cultivating an environment of growth and success.
- Develop and establish clear Key Performance Indicators, tracking progress to meet and exceed Gross Profit objectives.
- Manage the recruitment, hiring, training, and retention of top talent within the Hi-Rel / Mil-Aero sector.
- Lead by example and be a pacesetter for the team, ensuring a high level of performance and accountability.
- Oversee Program Management for Hi-Rel / Mil-Aero projects, ensuring smooth operations and effective client relations.
- Act as the escalation point for sales teams and provide support as needed.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and suppliers, ensuring long-term satisfaction and business success.
- Align internal and field teams to optimize sales effectiveness and productivity.
- Manage and track account progress, ensuring targets and goals are met.
- Contribute to the overall success of the sales department, including providing support to other reps and leadership.
Requirements:
- 10 years of experience in semiconductor distribution and electronic components within the Defense/Aerospace industry.
- Proven experience as a sales leader in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with the ability to manage both internal and field sales teams.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to develop, motivate, and retain top talent.
- Expertise in Program Management and a solid understanding of Hi-Rel / Mil-Aero processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence key stakeholders.
- A proactive, innovative approach to problem-solving and decision-making in a competitive market.
- Ability to make quick decisions and adapt to changing market demands.
- Passion for achieving results and driving the success of both individual and team goals.
Required Education:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
