Responsibilities / Tasks
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Regional Sales Manager to join our Bakery Division team. This role involves driving sales, building strong customer relationships, and contributing to the growth of our business through strategic planning and market engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Market Analysis & Strategy: Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities. Develop and align long-term business strategy plans and targets.
- Industry Engagement: Collaborate with colleagues, build industry networks, and represent the company at trade shows.
- Lead Development: Pre-qualify sales leads, nurture prospects, and develop new sales opportunities.
- Proposal Management: Review RFQs, clarify customer requirements, and prepare competitive proposals.
- Market Insights: Gather and analyze information on market pricing and customer expectations.
- Presentations: Prepare and deliver compelling technical and sales presentations to clients and stakeholders.
- CRM Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM records and forecast lists.
- Contract Collaboration: Work with the Business Unit to negotiate contract terms, conditions, and pricing.
- Order Coordination: Issue order confirmation documents and participate in turnover meetings.
- Client Relationship Management: Maintain ongoing client communication, manage expectations, and ensure satisfaction.
Your Profile / Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Food Science, or a related field is required
- Proven experience in regional sales, preferably in the bakery or food processing industry.
- Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Availability to travel for trade shows, client visits, and meetings as needed.
- Familiarity with bakery production lines and equipment, including:
- Cake lines
- Cookie & cracker lines
- Pie lines
- Pizza lines
- Snack lines
- Tunnel ovens
