ModMed is hiring a driven Regional Sales Consultant to join our positive, passionate, and high-performing Sales team. The Regional Sales Consultant (RSC) works with our Regional Sales Managers on the sale of the Electronic Medical Assistant® (EMA™), Practice Management, Analytics, Patient Engagement and Telehealth™ solutions. As a part of the Sales team, the RSC supports the sales team to drive leads, opportunity creation and sales acceleration within a specialty market(s).
Your Role:
- Work directly with Sales Managers to engage new and existing leads through assisting in kick-off calls and follow-up communication designed to increase interest in our suite of solutions.
- Assist SDR/Inside Sales Team on “technical” sales calls.
- Assist in pipeline growth through multiple communication channels.
- Manage the inside sales process by helping to develop leads into opportunities for the Sales Territory Manager, and assist the Sales Territory Manager by following up with those prospects using multiple communication channels including email, phone and onsite visits.
- Establish relationships with specialty sales through actively participating in web demos, trade shows and professional meetings.
- Coordinate onsite demonstration requests and client references.
- Prepare customer pricing quotes within the quoting tool for the team.
- Assist with outbound campaigns and helping to coordinate messaging with SDRs
- Assist in creating sales proposals and presentations for the sales team and National Sales Director.
- Assist with discovery and practice assessments to help drive new opportunity creation.
- Provide prospect demonstrations at trade shows or as needed.
- Work closely with the National Sales Director and National Sales Manager on special projects.
Skills & Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience working in a sales environment (software sales a plus.)
- Medical practice experience is a plus.
- Strong interest in healthcare technology sales.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional business partners.
- Excellent presentation-building skills (PowerPoint and/or Google Slides).
- Experience using and working within a CRM (ex. Salesforce).
- Polished phone presence and professional in-person demeanor.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- Thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic and innovative environment.
