Working alongside our multi-disciplinary QA leadership team, you’ll play a key role in implementing the highest standards of care, ensuring regulatory compliance, and working collaboratively with talented caregivers and staff development teams.
What You’ll Do:
- Collaborate on clinical policies and procedures to ensure compliance with state/federal regulations and current standards of practice.
- Solve quality improvement challenges and implement action plans for continuous improvement.
- Oversee and ensure timely completion of Plans of Correction and other required documents for regulatory agencies.
- Conduct facility audits and assist in the development of corrective action plans as needed.
- Provide support to facilities to ensure the implementation of processes and resolution of deficiencies.
- Participate in Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) meetings and collaborate on staffing strategies.
- Offer orientation and support to Directors of Nursing (DON), Assistant Directors of Nursing (ADON), and Staff Development nurses.
- Embrace the Kingston Approach—building effective teamwork and communication across all regional staff members and facility leadership.
- Travel to facilities as needed, approximately 75% of the time.
Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Ohio.
- Direct experience in long-term care, quality assurance, and Director of Nursing roles.
- Thorough knowledge of State and Federal regulations governing long-term care.
- Knowledge of the Minimum Data Set (MDS) and Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) processes.
- Experience in formulating policies and implementing new strategies.
- Minimum of 5 years of long-term care experience preferred.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills and professional conduct.
- Proficient in Point Click Care (PCC) EMR.
