Title: Regional Project Associate (Philadelphia and SE PA regions)
Classification: Non-Exempt
Scope of Position: The Project Associate will work closely with the Regional Project Specialist on specialized programs and/or time limited projects. The Project Associate is responsible for delivering a range of workforce services for both job seekers and employers while utilizing project management tools to report on performance efforts and outcomes.
Responsibilities:Essential Functions:
- Establish a positive, high-performing culture by demonstrating EDSI’s core values
- Work directly with the local EDSI team, Regional Director of Operations, and Regional Project Specialist in the implementation of special projects such as partner-funded programs, Good Jobs Challenge initiatives, career accelerator programs, and other projects funded through discretionary dollars
- Collaborate with the Project Specialist on tracking tools for all project deliverables
- Deliver the outreach, program screening, and enrollment services for identified projects
- Engage participants frequently through a range of methods, including and not limited to phone, text, email, community engagement, and learning management system platforms
- Facilitate orientations, job readiness classes, and career accelerator curriculum as scheduled
- Coordinate and deliver support services based on each project’s policies and participant need
- Coordinate master agreements for individual training accounts and partner with Project Accountant on contracts, invoices, and payments
- Enhance existing skills and develop new skills specific to serving those who are justice-impacted, long term unemployed, those with substance use disorder, career seeking youth, and other identified priority communities.
- Maintain a positive partnership with funders by attending meetings, engaging in proactive communication, discussing best practices, and presenting program innovations
- Involve employer perspectives in program service coordination and service delivery
- Refer participants to industry-appropriate employers based on project objectives and individualized participant career goals
- Engage in one-to-one meetings with leadership to ensure that all program goals are met or exceeded
- Serve as a back-up and support to each EDSI staff member assigned to the project
- Monitor project progress and proactively address any changes in project plan
- Responsible for data tracking of every service provided and utilization of the state system of record
- Responsible to summarize all special project data into cumulative reporting on total impact, as well as offer reports and summaries by each project
- Demonstrate fluid approach to work and actively be part of continuous improvement
- Travel is required

Education and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be able to work independently with little or no supervision
- Use language reflective of a commitment to diversity; demonstrate cultural competence
- Ability to interact with a wide variety of individuals and demonstrate a positive professional attitude
- Prior experience in case management, facilitation, or project management required
- Experience in WIOA policies preferred
- Experience working in the Philadelphia and Southeastern PA region is preferred
- Strong interpersonal and servant leadership skills required
- Clean driving record, valid Driver’s License, and access to reliable vehicle required
- Excellent writing and proofing skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
