CANDIDATE MUST RESIDE IN TEXAS - San Antonio, Austin, Dallas, or Houston preferred
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, strategic and operations planning for the branch, including financial management, operational performance and analysis, planning and execution, fleet management, inventory management, customer management, and leadership, including performance management. Provides input and feedback on all operations, processes and results to the VP of Operations.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintains compliance with all safety rules and regulations, legal regulations, and human resource policies and ensures safety and security of all branch employees, facility, equipment, and inventory.
- Understands and uses financial indicators/metrics and profits and losses to measure the performance of business and improve profitability.
- Prepares and controls operational budget and inventory.
- Provides clear expectations on metrics and goals to all branch employees. Manages performance of branch employees and recognizes, trains, coaches, counsels, and takes corrective action when warranted.
- Manages internal and external fleet resources to meet daily customer service delivery requirements and partners with support staff to ensure compliance with all DOT regulations.
- Conducts routine branch analysis on functions, processes, asset utilization (equipment, resources, and labor). Communicates and implements process improvement strategies that increase productivity.
- Oversees a team of branch employees, including shop personnel, shop supervisors, and logistics personnel.
Qualifications include:
- Must authorized to work for any employer in the United States without sponsorship
- Must have strong analytical and computer skills
- Must have prior operations management experience
- Must have experience managing others in a fast paced, sometimes hazardous environment
- Must have experience in the “rebar” industry
