Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Regional Operations Manager to oversee and coordinate the operations of our mobile medical offices collection sites across the Los Angeles area. The ideal candidate will ensure seamless operational efficiency, maintain the highest standards of patient care, and lead a team of professionals in delivering reliable, timely, and professional sample collection services.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Leadership:
Oversee daily operations of all sample collection sites, ensuring compliance with protocols and procedures.
Develop and implement efficient workflows to optimize site performance and patient experience.
Monitor inventory levels of supplies and equipment at collection sites, ensuring timely replenishment.
Team Management:
Recruit, train, and manage site supervisors, clinical staff, and administrative personnel.
Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching and mentorship.
Create staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage across all sites.
Compliance and Quality Assurance:
Ensure all operations adhere to local, state, and federal regulations.
Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and other privacy standards.
Conduct regular quality assurance checks to ensure accuracy and reliability in sample collection and processing.
Patient Experience:
Monitor and enhance the patient experience, addressing complaints and ensuring high satisfaction rates.
Develop strategies to reduce patient wait times and improve service delivery.
Financial Management:
Manage budgets for collection sites and optimize cost-efficiency.
Track revenue and expenses, providing regular reports to senior management.
Identify opportunities for expansion and revenue growth within the region.
Communication and Coordination:
Act as the primary point of contact between site operations and senior management.
Coordinate with external labs, telehealth services, and other partners to ensure smooth sample processing and result delivery.
Lead regular team meetings to discuss updates, address challenges, and align on goals.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Management, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
2+ years of experience in operations management, preferably in healthcare or diagnostic services.
Proven leadership skills with experience managing diverse teams across multiple locations.
Strong knowledge of COVID, flu, and strep testing protocols and healthcare compliance standards.
Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with staff, patients, and partners.
Proficiency in using technology and software for scheduling, reporting, and communication.
Additional Requirements:
Must possess a valid driver’s license and have reliable transportation.
Flexibility to travel between sites in the Los Angeles area as needed.
Availability for occasional weekend or evening work, depending on operational needs.
