REGIONAL NEW INSTALLATION & MODERNIZATION SALES EXECUTIVE
JOB SUMMARY
Bid and secure modernization and new installation contracts and develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers so that modernization and new installation projects are completed profitably, and the branch meets annual revenue goals. This position exercises discretion and independent judgement with respect to matters of significance.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Work is highly independent. May assume a team lead role for the work group. A specialist on complex technical and business matters.
- Work in coordination with building managers and/or owners and other related contacts in the pre-bidding of modernization jobs, including building strong customer relationships and maintaining market awareness of projects and competitors.
- Create quoting and bidding packages by obtaining blueprints of proposed modernization, including reviewing specs and labor with operations department for completeness and accuracy and ensuring that jobs will be profitable for the branch.
- Present bids to customers and explains cost factors, emphasizing characteristics such as construction, performance, durability, and appearance of equipment.
- Oversee overall business development sales strategy including integration of sales growth and market share objectives.
- Satisfy or exceed individual and office sales goals.
- Handle substantial modernization and new installation bids.
- Develop and continuously improve relationships with consultants, general contractors, and architects.
- Attend weekly sales meetings with Regional Manager to expand on modernization and new installation bids, proposals, and sales.
- Develop and implement a sales strategy, bidding process, and sales literature
- Actively complete a market analysis for each branch to identify and secure bids
- Conduct portfolio analysis to identify and connect with the decision marker of an organization, find out when buildings come off service/bids will be released, and determine real opportunities.
- Interact with operations manager to survey potential jobs, effectively and efficiently put together estimates and proposals.
- Lead Fujitec and sales presentations at customer/consultant meetings and lunch-and-learns.
- Coordinate submittal packages through the approval process and create change orders as requested.
- Visit project sites when necessary and work with the operations department to ensure customer’s needs and deadlines are being met.
- Assist in project managing all sold jobs from the time of sale through project kick-off.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
- Education: Bachelor’s in related
- Experience: Minimum 7 years in related
- Requires a valid driver’s license and a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report.
- Local Travel Expectations: 10%
