About the Job
The NOW Massage Chicago/Westmont is looking for a Regional Manager who will oversee and support the operations of The NOW Massage business (3 locations) in Chicago/Westmont. This role is pivotal in driving sales growth, optimizing operational efficiency, and fostering a culture of excellence within the team. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who excels in coaching, performance management, and data-driven decision-making while maintaining strong relationships with employees and customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Coaching and Leadership
- Provide hands-on coaching and mentoring to location managers and team members to improve performance and achieve business goals.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance team capabilities, including customer service, sales techniques, and operational standards.
- Foster a positive and collaborative culture, ensuring alignment with company values and mission.
Sales Growth and Metrics Management
- Drive sales performance by setting and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) for each location.
- Identify opportunities for upselling services or retail products and implement strategies to boost revenue.
- Collaborate with marketing to support local campaigns and promotions.
Data Analysis and Insights
- Analyze sales and operational data to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges across locations.
- Prepare regular performance reports with actionable insights to guide decision-making.
- Monitor customer satisfaction metrics and implement strategies for continuous improvement.
Project Management
- Lead and coordinate special projects, such as new service rollouts, equipment upgrades, or operational improvements.
- Ensure that initiatives are executed on time, within budget, and aligned with company goals.
- Streamline workflows and introduce best practices across locations.
On-Site Presence
- Conduct weekly visits to each location to ensure alignment with company standards and address operational challenges.
- Build strong relationships with teams and customers through in-person engagement.
- Provide on-the-ground support during high-demand periods or special events.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field (preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in multi-location management, retail, or service-based business.
- Proven track record of driving sales growth and leading successful teams.
Skills and Competencies
- Exceptional coaching and leadership abilities.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong project management and organizational abilities.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and problem-solve effectively.
Other Requirements
- Flexibility to travel between locations regularly.
- Willingness to work in person at least 4 days per week.
- Passion for the wellness and massage industry.
