Duties and Responsibilities Summary
Team
· Staffs, trains, and continually develops and coaches managers in assigned units.
· Oversees the human resource management functions to ensure 100% compliance with all federal, state and local laws and regulations.
· Oversees and ensures the daily execution of the Operations Game plan in all assigned units.
· Complies with company policies, practices and procedures and communicates all changes to unit managers.
· Serves as the liaison between the units and the home office to ensure communication and coordination.
· Provides performance feedback and recognition to all General Managers on an ongoing and timely basis to include manager one -on-ones and performance appraisals.
· Holds all General Managers accountable for contributing to team and company objectives.
· Creates and maintains an Open Door Policy with all General Managers, Assistant Managers and hourly team members allowing for open and honest communication, consistency of standards and appreciation for contributions and suggestions.
· Effectively trains and develops managers with particular focus on AORs.
· Conducts informative and results focused GM meetings that include a written agenda.
· Ensures effective communication occurs to and amongst General Managers, Assistant Managers and Team Members
· Builds positive and professional relationships with all managers, team members, office staff and vendors ensuring positive morale.
· Follows up and ensures recognition and rewards programs are in place in each sports bar to recognize superior performance.
· Models exemplary behaviors and skills and ensure all managers follow this lead.
· Ensures every unit has three (8) Wing Certified Trainers (WCT) in place and all training systems are being used.
· Monitors hourly and management training to provide feedback to the trainees and the training department.
· Ensures all employees and assistant managers at assigned units are being evaluated annually.
· Performs General Manager reviews every (6) months at assigned restaurants
Sales Building
· Ensures all sports bars have and are implementing approved local store-marketing plans.
· Ensures all approved system wide marketing programs are implemented in every unit.
· Ensures that all Managers and Team Members are guest focused first and consistently displays exceptional hospitality skills.
· Actively looks for, identifies and implements techniques to attract new guests
· Builds positive, professional relationships with members of other businesses and organizations in the community.
· Responds to guest comments and complaints in a positive, timely manner using each one as an opportunity to build guest loyalty. Empowers all Managers to act in a similar capacity.
· Leverages compliance/feedback information to improve overall sports bar performance.
· Focuses on daily sales in every unit to identify opportunities and increase management awareness at the unit level.
Operations
· Positively impacts Company operations in assigned sports bars. Judgement exercised could considerably affect costs, profits, and/or customer/vendor relations.
· Ensures all sports bars adhere to company specified systems, tools and procedures for proper shift execution.
· Ensures ServSafe food, Responsible Alcohol Service and HAACP standards are strictly adhered to.
· Ensures all sports bars adhere to state, city, county, local and federal laws and regulations.
· Ensures the implementation of new programs, policies, procedures and product promotions.
· Ensures all sports bars consistently deliver the Buffalo Wild Wings experience through superior A/V management and sports awareness.
· Ensures all sports bars always maintain high quality service and cleanliness standards.
· Ensures General Managers hold Managers and Team Members accountable for adherence to all daily, weekly and monthly cleanings schedules.
· Proactively maintains and manages all sports bar interior and exterior facilities to ensure all sports bars are in “like new” condition.
· Performs a Quarterly QSC at assigned sports bars.
· Performs One Store Visit per week at each assigned restaurant each month.
· Perform a Food Safety Audit monthly at assigned sports bars.
Profits
· Maintains cost of goods sold, labor costs and other costs such as laundry, uniforms, office, bar, kitchen and cleaning supplies.
· Reviews all monthly financial statements with the General Managers of each assigned unit.
· Ensures accuracy and results on all units’ Cost of Goods Statements.
· Approves all General Managers schedules to ensure acceptable and effective connection and support of the sports bar and all managers.
· Possesses strong personal knowledge and ensure all managers possess solid knowledge of all labor control tools.
· Creates awareness and teaches managers how to control utility costs.
· Ensures all sports bars create daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly sales goals to meet or exceed budgeted expectations.
· Ensures all sports bars meet or exceed budgeted profit goals, react to trends and troubleshoot problem areas.
· Effectively breaks down sales and profit goals ensuring General Manager understanding of how to achieve maximum bonus potential.
· Ensures all sports bars comply with Safety and Security policies including loss prevention procedures and actions.
· Ensures all sports bars understand and use key financial tools/control systems including Aspect, Aloha etc.
· Monitors proper food handling, safety, and security programs in all units.
· Ensures overall food quality, service standards, cleanliness, and proper accounting procedures in assigned units.
· Monitors the exterior of all units during each visit to ensure landscaping, dumpster, signs and building adhere to prescribed standards.
· Initiates and influences policies and is subject to only periodic review of results.
· Monitors and assists with all maintenance issues at the assigned restaurants
· Reviews Administration Organization. Proper invoicing through Aspect with correct filing.
· Completes other duties as assigned or apparent in a timely manner.
The Regional Manager exhibits Hospitality at all times.
