Position Objective:
This role encompasses the oversight of operational and financial aspects within the company's business unit handling portfolio clients. Its primary aim is to ensure operational excellence by prioritizing customer satisfaction through the establishment of efficient internal processes. Quality assurance serves as a vital metric for evaluating success. Effective interdepartmental communication and goal-setting are pivotal for achieving objectives. Additionally, concise reporting, active participation in Executive Staff meetings, proactive planning, and direct client engagement are integral components of this role. We actively strive to guarantee customer and stakeholder satisfaction, making this a dynamic, hands-on position.
Primary Responsibilities:
Executive Level:
- Manage all real estate portfolio-based clients serviced by the company.
- Foster senior relationships with each Board of Directors and key members.
- Develop and maintain effective communication with the Board of Directors.
- Collect necessary client information to uphold high-level relationships within the company.
- Oversee or establish systems with the company operations to enhance management and customer service.
- Report priority objectives related to team and client performance to the Executive Team.
Property Manager Oversight:
- Supervise Property Managers and their roles in managing portfolio-related clients.
- Identify, train, and develop capable internal candidates for field roles.
- Define Property Managers' duties and establish a reporting process for senior team members.
- Develop training and quality assurance processes for client deliverables.
- Implement a customer outreach system for performance evaluation.
Operations:
- Collaborate with the Director of Operations to identify automation and process improvement opportunities.
- Conduct Quality Assurance Audits on management and financial operations.
- Prioritize and execute key process improvements using internal resources.
- Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and supervise direct reports.
- Acquire subject matter expertise in key technology systems and outsourced client support services.
- Participate in budget development with the Controller and other business unit leaders.
Business Unit Responsibilities:
- Track business unit P&Ls, including portfolio managed accounts and maintenance operations.
- Supervise Community Managers and support staff.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrate proactive strategies to maintain contract stability and employee retention.
- Possess exceptional organizational, time management, oral presentation, and written communication skills.
- Exhibit commitment to the company's mission, vision, and beliefs.
- Previous supervisory experience in a similar capacity.
- Strong leadership skills and ability to work well under pressure.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Education and Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
- Valid Georgia Driver's License and State Mandated Vehicle Insurance.
- Certification from PCAM, CMCA, or AMS strongly desired.
